 As 2022 comes to an end please consider making a donation to the Long Lake Area Association Foundation Fundraiser.  We are well on our way to our goal of raising $25,000 and would appreciate your support.  

Our Current Fund Drive for July 2022 thru June 2023 is at 68% of our Goal to Raise $25,000!

Thank you to the 105 Long Lake families and others that have participated thus far in our current LLAA Foundation Fund Drive which started July 1, 2022 and ends June 30, 2023. 

We are at 68% of our goal to raise $25,000.

Part of the funds raised help support watercraft inspection education at the south and north accesses.  In 2022, LLAA Foundation provided $19,360 for 880 hrs. The hourly rate is expected to increase in 2023.  Our supplemental fund donation to Hubbard County for the additional hours is due January 31, 2023.

You have all helped the Long Lake Area Association (Hubbard County) Foundation exceed the July 2020 - June 2021 Goal!

Thank you to all of the generous donors to the July 2020 to June 2021 Fund Drive!

You have helped the LLAA Foundation exceed the $25,000 goal set when the Fund Drive kicked off on July 1, 2020!  The amount raised for the immediate past fund drive was $27,400; ending June 30, 2021.

The LLAA Foundation continues to provide supplemental funding for watercraft inspection / education at the south and north public accesses at both ends of Long. This summer, Long Lake has received 680 hours of inspection/education from the State and County. The two townships together provided a total of 91 hours for Long Lake. LLAA Foundation has provided additional funding for another 905 hours, giving us a grand total of 1676 hours. The donations received help make this possible.

Autumn - Early November 2020 Update

 The current LLAA Foundation Fund Drive which started July 1, 2020 and ends June 30, 2021 has raised just over $20,500 as of early Nov 2020.  Our LLAA Foundation fundraiser goal is $25,000 as stated in our letter to all lakeshore property owners on 7/24/2020.  So far, 109 Long Lake Families have participated!  We thank you ALL! 

The LLAA Foundation continues to supplement funding for the watercraft inspector / education program at the South and North public accesses on Long Lake.  In 2020, we provided $18,000.  We are following the studies underway by the University of Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Center on Zebra Mussels and other AIS.

Thanks to All of You Very Generous Long Lake Families Contributing to the Current Fund Drive!!

The current LLAA Foundation Fund Drive which started July 1, 2019 and ends June 30, 2020 has raised $19,721 through October, 2019.  We have had 103 Long Lake families participating thus far in this Fund Drive through October! 

The LLAA Foundation plans to contribute $18,000 (as we did in 2019 also) for supplemental watercraft inspection / education to the Hubbard County Environmental Services AIS Program by the end of January 2020.  These supplemental hours will be applied toward watercraft inspector hours at our two primary public access on Long Lake for summer 2020 along with State hours allocated by Hubbard County plus any hours contributed by our two Townships.

Our Goal as stated at the Annual Meeting in June, 2019 is $25,000 for this Fund Drive.  Thank You All for your generosity!  Happy Thanksgiving from Long Lake!
