Happy Halloween to our Long Lake "Treaters"!

We have a lakeshore here on Long Lake that is lined with generous “Treaters” this Halloween day!

Our Long Lake Area Association Foundation has been gifted by 101 Long Lake Families so far during the current fund drive which runs from July 2017 through June 2018.

Remember that Donations made before December 31st are tax deductible for 2017 as allowed by law.

Also, donations can be made via a group gift from your extended family.  If your relatives exchange Christmas gifts among themselves, an idea for a good gift might be having people request that their personal gift be a check to the Foundation?

🎄What  could be a better gift than to help preserve our lake for the enjoyment of future generations?

To give a Christmas Gift to the Foundation, request that the donor mail a check to:

LLAA Foundation,
PO Box 808,
Park Rapids MN 56470,
Include  "(Your Family's Name) Xmas Gift" in the check memo.

All of "(Your Family's) Xmas Gifts" will be combined based on the check memo notations.
Each contributor will receive a receipt for their tax-deductible gift.

Summer "Sounds" On The Lake Kick Off The 2017-18 Fund Drive

The sounds of boat motors, birds calls, and children's laughter fills the air this Sat morning, July 1st here on Long Lake.  It is the beginning of the "July 4th extended weekend / holiday!  We begin the 2017-18 Fund Drive for Our Long Lake Area Association Foundation today.  We have two generous donors who are leading the way today already!  As we mentioned in the LLAA Annual Meeting last Saturday, we are raising funds for watercraft inspection / education, for a rapid response fund if aquatic invasive species occurs plus continuing to protect, preserve, and enhance the quality of Long Lake and its environs, as the LLAA Foundation purpose states.   We are at $2,000 and building strong towards our goal of $20,000.

Loons are on the Lake calling out “Happy Spring” now that ice-out occurred 4-7-17!  We thank all the generous donors who make it possible to help protect our very special Long Lake through the watercraft inspection / education program, building a “quick response” fund, and more.  You are greatly appreciated!
